For QJM I produced three pairs of photographs interspersed among the medical papers and commentary. The photographs add to the journal's subject
matter and are collectively entitled Decayed Teeth. They are intended to act as a counterpoint to the medical discipline and to represent an alternative
experience of the bodily pain and of the nature of healing. I wanted the photographs to be delicately suggestive or surgical procedures. Both
visually and through their titles.
